QBSI 76mm x 150mm Wall Block is ideal for Retaining, Roof Support, underground tunnels, beams for domestic building and Lift-well system. 20mm HD Board can be used for feature flooring and partitions, fire wall construction sequence for low-rise and high-rise to Engineers specification.

Product Specification

High density board is durable and moisture-resistant. Its dry bending strength is 7.5 mpa to 14 mpa and bending trength under absorbed moisture is 7.5 to 14 mpa as well. This material has been immersed in water for one month and the test results show that it keeps its original shape without deformation. Has passed the 39-59 appendix fire test

Fire Resistance

The assessment of fire hazard properties in accordance with AS/NZS 3837:1998 - Method of test for heat and smoke release rates for materials and products using an oxygen consumption calorimeter and Appendix F of AS 3959:2009 – Construction of Buildings in bushfire-prone areas.

HD FireBoard which is comprised of an organic cellulose fibre material. These material samples were
manufactured by the sponsor of this test to form small panels nominally 12.0mm thick and having anominal density of 1063.2 kg/m. Prior to testing, the specimens were conditioned in accordance with BS EN 13238-2001 at a temperature of 23°C +/- 2°C and relative humidity of 50% +/- 5% for a continuous period of more than 48
hours.

Relevance to AS 3959-2009 Appendix F. Based on the above discussion it is confirmed that the referenced test data is suitable for the determination of whether the tested specimens may be treated as bushfire-resisting timber in accordancewith Appendix F of AS 3959-2009.
Appendix F of AS 3959-2009 defines bushfire-resisting timber as a material which;

a) has a maximum heat release rate which is not greater than 100 kW/m and

b) the average heat release rate is not greater than 60 kW/m for ten minutes after ignition when
exposed to an irradiance level of 25 kW/m

Sound Insulation:

High Density board has excellent sound insulation properties.  The sound insulation factor of the wall can reach 44 dB and 55dB.

Light Weight:

The High Density board is light weight and will maintain its quality during construction. It is impact resistant and can save time, space, weight and expenses.

Installation:

The board is easy to cut, saw, nail, stick, paint and veneer.

Decoration:

Its smooth surface is suitable for a wide range of surface treatments including overlay, wallpapering, painting and texture coat.

Electromagnetic Waves prevention & Antistatic:

The board is suitable for places such as hospitals to contain electromagnetic waves. Areas such as X-ray and operative rooms are examples.

Plywood Substitution

The HD board has excellent thermal values and has been tested for astm c518-04 is non-flammable. It is ideal to be used for paper factory/printing outlets, home theatres/media rooms and cinemas. 20mm HD Board can be used for Flooring, external Veranda, Jetties and Marinas. 10mm HD Board can used for the Formwork to build commercial high-rise and duplexes. 75mm x 150mm HD Wall Block can be used for beams, retaining walls and roof support for underground tunnels.
